| Hi all, I've got 1 and a half year erstwhile who is very active (running, crawling, climbing on everything) and my wife wants to find a manner to secure furniture like his dresser as well as bookshelves, etc. I'd similar to ideally discover a manner to practise this without drilling holes in the walls (as my wife also likes re-arranging) and so that I don't finish upward with holey walls in a year or two! Any suggestions? |

| I helped a friend secure tall furniture in an earthquake zone. Even though it was a rental we found no good method other than tying to the wall which requires holes. |

Platonic, but manifestly (given the rash of "furniture falling on child" disasters that have gotten publicity) - that strategy no longer is effective. I would highly suggest securing them to the wall with the brackets that were included with the furniture. There is no other solution. |
